LGMG's First Global Mining Customer Service Festival Opened in Ordos
From October 9 to 11, 2026, LGMG's first Global Mining Customer Service Festival kicked off in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. It has drawn more than 500 attendees, including government and association leaders, industry experts, domestic and international partners and customers and media representatives. They were gathered here to discuss underlying industry trends and set a course for the green and smart mining shift and upgrade.

Harness Collective Strength to Chart New Paths to Mining Transition
Driven by the China's "Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality" goals, fluctuating diesel prices, and the mining need for reduced costs and enhanced efficiency, the global mining industry is undergoing a profound energy mix transformation. A green system integrating "electric equipment, on-site renewable energy, energy-storage microgrid and intelligent dispatch" is also marching from pilot demonstrations toward large-scale deployment.
Keeping abreast of industrial revolution and intelligent upgrading trends, LGMG is working with energy companies, research institutions, mine operators and other stakeholders to deliver a full-stack digital solution for mining operations. By integrating the entire business chain of equipment, energy, storage and dispatch, a new model that can be copied and extended is established for low-carbon mine development.

President Simon Zhang said that LGMG will continue to deepen cross-sector collaboration, and boost synergy between industry, academia, research, and application. Through continued efforts in technological advancements such as microgrid energy, ultra-fast charging, and intelligent dispatch, the Company will coordinate mining operations, equipment operation & maintenance, and energy management and control to promote the green and smart mine development and the deep-seated transformation toward electrification and intelligent operations.
At the themed conference held on October 10, numerous industry experts shared their insights into such topics as the deployment of new energy systems at mine sites, intelligent operation & maintenance and dispatch, microgrid construction, industry landscape, practical technical solutions and multi-scenario application value.
In his keynote report titled Global Mining Transition toward New Energy, Professor Zhou Wei of China University of Mining and Technology noted that carbon-reduction commitments, operational safety and policy goals are jointly propelling the mining equipment makeover. Surface mines are now entering a phase of standardization and design change for autonomous electric equipment. Beyond electrification and autonomy, equipment must also be standardized. Scenario-based standardization of autonomous electric equipment is the industry's top priority, requiring concerted efforts across the entire industrial chain.
Professor Gu Qinghua of the School of Resources Engineering at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology presented the report titled A New Mining Paradigm in the Intelligent Era. He stated that mining is no longer simply about separating useful minerals from ores, and extracting and hauling them to the surface. Rather, it is a complex systematic engineering that integrates resources, energy and data to maximize value. Focusing on four intelligent engines of smart blasting, production scheduling, equipment management and safety management, while also incorporating autonomous driving, he provided an in-depth explanation of the new mining paradigm in the intelligent era.
In addition to the keynote presentations, LGMG joined hands with industry experts and representatives of mining customers from China and abroad in initiating the Green and Smart Mining Summit Forum. Centering on green mining, intelligent equipment, supporting energy facilities, ultra-fast charging deployment, and digital management and control, the forum facilitated a multidimensional exchange of ideas and pooled wisdom of multiple organizations to analyze the challenges facing smart mine development and chart paths to high-quality growth, building consensus and injecting strong momentum into the green and smart transformation of the mining industry.

Dual Drivers Bolster High-Quality Development
Du Jianbo, General Manager of LGMG's Global Aftermarket Company, officially unveiled the "Global Service Excellence Brand 2.0 Strategy" to customers worldwide, marking the formal entry of its services into the "Lifetime Customer Value Partner" stage. This strategic upgrade enhances the global service support and parts supply systems while introducing diversified service models tailored to customers' varying needs, including standard services, comprehensive service packages, smart mine operation & maintenance, and complete machine remanufacturing, throughout the lifecycle of their equipment. These strategic initiatives not only fully embody the service philosophy of "Always Available, Always Reliable," but also vividly demonstrate the corporate commitment to deeply enabling customers to create greater value.

Wang Yinshu, CTO of Central Technology Institute of LGMG, announced a smart mining solution that enables efficient and dependable mining operations with technology expertise. Global mining machinery market continues to expand and the electrification and smart transformations gather pace. To keep pace with these trends, LGMG has built a complete product portfolio covering multiple power types and recharging solutions for a wide range of mining applications, including overburden removal, coal mining, and muddy conditions. Backed by proprietary core technologies and rigorous test and validation systems, its products can adapt to complex and extreme mining conditions. At the same time, LGMG has rolled out complementary solutions such as digital mine management and control, PV-storage-charging microgrids, and ultra-fast charging. It has also crafted new products with high payload capacities to further consolidate its strategic presence in electrification and smart mining.

On the morning of the 11th, invited guests embarked on an immersive green and smart mining tour, taking an up-close-and-personal look at the real-world application of LGMG's intelligent equipment, microgrid solutions, and ultra-fast charging technology in mining and material hauling, and the outcomes of lower cost and higher efficiency.

During the tour, guests saw a complete smart microgrid ecosystem clearly before them: With PV power generation as the source, energy storage systems as the buffer, megawatt-level ultra-fast charging as the power supply terminal of trucks, and intelligent dispatch as the connection between energy and mining truck operating cycles, a closed-loop, full-chain mine energy system is formed integrating green power, energy storage, ultra-fast charging, and intelligent dispatch—reshaping mines from passive operations dependent on external power grids and diesel into energy-independent, clean and intelligent entities. The application of ultra-fast charging technology makes the heavy-duty haulage of electric mining trucks a reality. It addresses more than the isolated issue of slow mining truck charging. From ultra-fast-charging mining trucks and complete ultra-fast-charging infrastructure to a suite of integrated PV-storage-charging energy solution, it offers a comprehensive mine electrification solution encompassing vehicles, energy replenishment, energy management, and mining operations.

"This is not only a grand event for the exchange of cutting-edge ideas, but also an important opportunity to deepen industry cooperation and enhance customer service." Yu Mengsheng, Chairman of LGMG, said that the Company will sharpen focus on the mining equipment sector, step up innovation efforts in green and intelligent technologies, strengthen global customer service capabilities, and team up with customers and partners to push forward the mining industry into a new stage of safe, low-carbon and intelligent development.

We should forge ahead with firm confidence and solid steps toward green mining. As the poem goes: Pursue the wind and moon; tarry not. Beyond the flat moorland stand spring mountains. By following customer-centered approach, LGMG will continuously optimize the comprehensive mining equipment portfolio, upgrade the global service and support system, go hand in hand with the partners across the industrial chain, and lead the way in hastening the green and smart transformation of the global mining industry!
